For MAPs who aren't ready for peer or professional support, self-help tools can be a valuable resource for dealing with mental health issues and improving quality of life.
Many of these resources have an excessive focus on abuse prevention, which is known to be counterproductive for some MAPs. Additionally, due to infrequent updates and a lack of citations, these resources should not be considered a reliable source if information about minor attractions.
